Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the horror or martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks that have a twisted fascination. She began her reviews in late 2009; after she gained some fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. She continued to be a part of the site up until January 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts are about the Charmed series.
