Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the horror or martial arts genres. Her style of review and methodology are similar to that of The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action flicks that have a twisted fascination. She began her reviews in late 2009; after she gained some fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. She continued to be a part of the site up until January 2015 in which the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts are about the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. See her videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Additionally, she is on Tumblr as well as Twitter. If Allison isn't enough for you? Ninja the Mission Force features Allison as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones starred her in Jesus Bro! She's appeared in Brad Jones's series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing horrible children's movies as well as RiffTrax Live Shows aswell in occasional adult-oriented comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017.). When she began reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame on Channel Awesome's forums. Prior to joining the official team that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she became popular. There have been numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She was a part of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and would often appear in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
