Tulloch began to act as Bitsie, and remained in that role until 2017. She then decided to switch her name to Elizabeth. In my introductions to new people, Bitsie is still the name I use. But it sort of worked at the time I was in my mid-20s and I was just beginning my acting career. In the mid-30s, and it seemed as though for reasons of billing I was tempted to return to Elizabeth. This thought didn't occur to me until I began filming. Producers were like Hey we saw it was Elizabeth as we filled out your legal papers. Is that like a good idea? So I contacted both my agent and manager to get their opinions. When you're older, it's time to take a step forward. Bitsie, on the other hand, is a cute and adorable name. It's cutesy. Was it all that was really? Elizabeth was not my name to identify myself. The name is only for billing purposes going forward. Tulloch has both Scottish and Spanish family heritage. Tulloch declared that her primary spoken language is Spanish, although she isn't competent in the language. The family of her paternal grandmother is of Renfrewshire and her family of grandparents originated from the area around Kirkwall as well as Scotland. In an article published by BBC News, she stated that the Tullochs first came to the US in 1880. The Kerrs came in the middle of the century.
