Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is best known for her role in movies such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish received the first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. The father of her was Jack Gilpin star of such films like Adventureland (2009) and her mom was Ann McDonough of The Mothman Prophecies (2002) and other films. Betty Gilpin made a decision to go into acting because she was able to count on the backing and affection from her parents. Fordham College, where Gilpin was studying to develop her craft, was the college that she chose to attend. Gilpin auditioned, and then began to perform off-Broadway plays following her graduation. Gilpin was cast in a minor role on Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). In addition, she appeared on in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent during 2001 to 2011. Gilpin kept securing TV guest spots throughout the following years until she was able to get her first break in 2013 when she was offered the role of a regular in Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes, until Nurse Jackie was removed in June of 2015. Gilpin appeared the same year in True Story, a mystery thriller.
